6. TutorAI

As a student, it is always recommended that you develop the habit of self-learning, as not everything can be learned from textbooks. This tool lets you study anything you want, like programming, physics, and even organic chemistry, at the click of a button.

Screenshot of Tutor AI interface teaching plot fundamentals, with modules on exposition, rising action, climax, and resolution.

To start learning, simply click on “Create custom course.” You can drill through the lessons more by clicking on the options below: “Simplify,” - which summarizes the lesson in around 4-5 lines; “Examples,” - which will give you an example for each section; and “Quiz,” - which will test your knowledge on the lesson by asking questions. On top of it, the tool has an AI chat, which will let you ask questions about the module.

Once done with the module, click “Mark as complete.” However, the tool offers only one free search. In other words, if you searched “programming” for the first time, completed all the modules in that topic, and now want to learn “Chemistry,” the tool will not permit you to do so on a free plan.

As a student, I hated that making a good presentation took hours or days. However, times have changed.

Gamma is one of the free AI tools for students that creates stunning presentations with AI content and images with just a short description.

You can generate a website, a document, or social media posts (currently in beta) using your notes, a one-line prompt, existing documents, or a presentation.

I clicked “Generate” and then selected “Presentation.” to create a presentation based on a prompt. You can customize the presentation by customizing the number of cards, page style, tone, language, and a suitable theme. Once you have completed this step, your presentation will be generated.

You can add Google Drive, videos, images, and more to your presentation. Click on the 3 dots on the left of your profile picture, then click “Export” to download the presentation as a PDF or a PPT.

Remember that each presentation will consume 40 credits. The free plan gives you 200 credits (the number might vary).

8. Humata AI

Have you ever received a PDF of over 100 pages from your professor for your exams? I have been there.

But you are lucky, as you have a tool called Humata to help you surf through your PDFs by asking questions upon uploading a PDF.
